You will see our first sign at Harman Dr. but you need to continue 55 West one more mile to Houghlin La. You CANNOT connect to us from Harman Dr.

From Washington, DC area
- Follow Rt 66 West to Rt 81 South second Strasburg exit # 296, VA-55.
- Take VA-55 to WV 55 to Wardensville (about 20 miles).
- Bear left and travel through Wardensville.
- After Wardensville you will join the NEW Rt 55 - a 4-lane Freeway not yet shown on internet mapping.
- Take the new Freeway to the end - about 20 miles - to the 2nd Moorefield exit - sign will also say Petersburg.
- Follow arrows on the new construction road to a light on Rt 220 and 55 in Moorefield (McDonalds on left). Turn left at light.
- Go through Moorefield and continue traveling on Rt 55 West, about 12 miles to Petersburg.
- Once at Petersburg, go to the stoplight and turn Right - Rt 55/28 towards Seneca Rock.
- Travel through another stop light, pass the hospital, look for the Post Office on left.
- At the Post office continue Rt 55 exactly 2 miles past a memorial cemetery on right to the crest of the hill. Turn right onto Houghlin Lane.
***You will need to go about 1.7 miles on Houghlin La. - a typical country road past red chicken houses and fields. (There will be a sharp right-hand turn midway.) After about 1 and a half miles look for a sudden right onto Upland La, a steep dirt/gravel road. NOTE: On GPS and Internet maps this street is named Hawk Dr. It isn't! Continue up Upland. At the top of the hill DON'T turn right at Sydney where the mailbox cluster is, but bear left around the curve to the first driveway on the left. Look for our sign and come on down to the big house!

From Baltimore, MD
- Take I-70 West to Frederick, then Rt 340 South to Rt 7 West to I-81 South to second Strasburg exit # 296, VA-55.
- Take VA-55 to
to Wardensville (about 20 miles). Bear left through Wardensville.
**Alternative Route from Winchester - go 50 West to Rt 259 to Wardensville. Go straight through Wardensville.
- Take the new Freeway to the end - about 20 miles - to the 2nd Moorefield exit - sign will also say Petersburg. Follow arrows on the new construction road to a light on Rts 220 and 55 in Moorefield (McDonalds on left). Turn left at light.
- Go through Moorefield and continue traveling on Rt 55 West, about 12 miles to Petersburg.

Warning! Avoid Rt 50...
- Take 70 East go about 117 miles to Washington, WV
- On 79 South go about 106 miles to Weston, WV 33E.
- On 33 East go about 76 miles and take left onto Rt 55 East to Seneca Rocks...
- Continue traveling 55 East about 22 miles to Cabins, WV.
- Go exactly 2 more miles from the Cabins Post Office to Houghlin Lane and turn left. (Just before Houghlin you will see yellow school bus loading and trucks entering highway signs.) If you enter Petersburg, WV you have gone too far.
You will need to go about 1.7 miles on Houghlin La. - a typical country road past red chicken houses and fields. (There will be a sharp right-hand turn midway.) After about 1 and a half miles look for a sudden right onto Upland La, a steep dirt/gravel road. NOTE: On GPS and Internet maps this street is named Hawk Dr. It isn't! Continue up Upland. - Take a left onto Rt 55 East to Seneca Rocks...
- Continue traveling 55 East about 22 miles to Cabins, WV.
- Go exactly 2 more miles from the Cabins Post Office to Houghlin Lane and turn left. (Just before Houghlin you will see yellow school bus loading and trucks entering highway signs.) If you enter Petersburg, WV you have gone too far.
***ALTERNATE and PREFERRED Route which a little longer in miles but faster:
- Take I-79 to I-68 East.
- Take 28/220 South through Keyser to 93 South.
- From 93 South turn left onto 42 South to Petersburg.
- At light in Petersburg (cement block and gas station area), turn right onto Rt 55 West. Pass the hospital and look for the Post Office on left.

We know what the internet mapping says but you will be happier and will avoid going a slow route over a curved mountain road if you follow one of the directions below:
For country roads:
- Follow Rt 81 North to the Broadway exit 257.
- Take Rt 259 North through Mathias to Baker.
- Turn right at the stop sign at Baker onto Rt 55 East.
- Go just a little bit, go under the bridge and turn left onto the NEW Rt 55 - West.
- Travel about 14 miles to the 2nd Moorefield exit - sign will also say Petersburg.
- Follow arrows on the new construction road to a light on Rt 220 and 55 in Moorefield (McDonalds on left). Turn left at light.
- Go through Moorefield and continue traveling on Rt 55 West, about 12 miles to Petersburg.
